Moreover, your contribution to the environmental preservation is highly appreciated. Therefore, we would like you to read this manual before you use your new ebike or scooter.

Warnings & Notices

Please keep bike properly maintained to ensure its longevity.

• For your personal safety avoid riding the bike during extreme weather conditions.
• Avoid riding on rough roads due to the possibility of tire damage. If the wheel becomes deformed, this may cause damage to the controller. Avoid drain grates, potholes, ruts, soft road edges, gravel and sand.
• Before riding, check front and rear brakes to make sure that they are functioning properly. Check bolts, to verify that they are tight. Use both front and rear brakes to avoid losing your balance when stopping.
• Maximum bike speed is 32km per hour under throttle. Wear a safety helmet and give proper signals when turning left or right.
• When riding in the evening, or rainy days wear light reflective markings and please follow the traffic flow in a straight line close to the curb.
• If the bike is unused for any length of time, pull electrical wires from the bike and turn off the power switch (key) on the control box. Take care of your key.
• Please remember there are NO user serviceable components. Wires tangled or plugged in improperly could damage the electrical system and void your warranty.
• Keep children and objects away from batteries to avoid the danger of burns.
• Do not expose chargers to rain or other liquids. Do not cover or otherwise impede air flow around charger as heat will not escape and charger may overheat.
• The battery power in the bike is designed only for our charger.
• To avoid theft, lock the bike, turn off the power, and remove the key.
• Please consult with your accident insurance company regarding theft and accident coverage. Ride carefully and respect life.
• The seat is adjustable.
• Riding the bike whenever your physical condition is impaired (by alcohol, medicines, etc.) is absolutely not recommended.
• Do not carry heavy objects or people on the bike.
• Safety comes first, so before you ride on the street, practice riding the bike somewhere away from cars.

Operational Manual

1. Indicator LED (beside the controller key)
   1. Controller: The LED indicates that electricity supply is normal.
   2. While the bike motor is off:
      1. Turn on the key. The LED will light up.
      2. If the battery power is low, the LED will indicate so. Please charge the battery regularly to keep it full.
      3. If the power is low while the bike is running, the LED will start flashing. At this time, it is necessary to charge the battery.
      4. The LED will let you know if the battery is full or empty
      5. If the controller is out of order, please send it to your dealer or distributor for repairs. The warranty is voided if the operator opens the control box.

   If your bike is activated by pedaling, then a pedal sensor is positioned on the lower end of the seat shaft and the matching magnets are put on the sprockets of the pedal. If magnets become damaged or loose, the motor will not run. (Replacement magnets and sensors may be purchased at local stores. Simply replace new ones in the same position as the old ones.)
   The best reactive distance for sensor and magnet is between 2 mm and 8 mm

2. How to Turn On the Electric Motor
1. Use the key to turn the power on and off. Be sure that the electrical wires are plugged in and in the proper position before you turn on the power.
2. Twist the throttle or pedal until you reach your desired speed. If you have an ebike as you pedal and change gears the faster you pedal, the faster the motor will go.
3. If the motor is overloading or turned on for a long period of time, it will cut off automatically. After it has cooled down it will start up again.
4. If the battery is low, the motor will stop. The battery needs to be charged as soon as possible. Please do not turn motor on and off. This will damage the battery.

Reasons the motor stops working

There are several possible points of failure in the hub motor’s electrical system, and careful analysis is necessary to be assured of reliable operation. Following is a fist of problems that can cause failure.

1. The key is not turned on.
2. The connector plug is loose on the battery
3. The fuse in the battery case is burned out or loose.
4. The voltage in the battery pack is low.
5. The battery is getting worn out and needs replacing.
3. Sealed Lead Acid Battery
• The three (or four) Lead-Acid batteries (7AH, 12V x 3pc = 36V or 7AH, 12V x 4pc. = 48V) are connected together.
• The battery needs to be charged in direct relation to your usage. It is not necessary to charge the battery each time you use your bike if you have only traveled a short distance.
• The Lead-Acid battery does not memorize its power capacity, therefore it needs to be charged frequently. For long life, after the bike battery is discharged, it needs to be recharged.
• The Lead-Acid battery has a limited useful lifetime. If a fully charged battery has a riding distance reduced to half that of the new bike, then the electrical power is insufficient and the battery is worn out. Please take the old battery back to the distributor for replacement. For public safely, recycle – do not throw batteries away.
• Don’t open the battery case if the battery is in use.
• Please put the plastic protective cover on the plug while it is not in use. Keep battery pack away from children, metals, coins, screws or jewellery.
• Only use charger which is specified for EBikes’ Lead-Acid batteries. Other battery chargers may overcharge and cause damage.

Lithium Polymer Battery

• Lithium Polymer batteries have NO user serviceable components.
  NEVER open the case. This could result in serious bodily injury.
  You will also void your warranty.
• Your Lithium Polymer Battery has 4 LED lights on top of the battery 3 green and 1 red
  Beside these is a red button. To check the charge, turn on the key and press the red button.
  If the charge is full all three green LEDs’ will light up. As the charge depletes fewer green LEDs’ will light up. When all green lights are out and the red light is on the battery is flat and must be charged right away.
  Lithium Polymer batteries do not take on a memory so don’t be afraid to keep them topped up.
  This being said do not leave them on the chargers plugged into the electrical source for extended periods of time ( over twelve hours).

The Charger

• Always turn off the key before attaching the charger.

• Attach the charger to the battery before plugging the charger into an electrical source. When charging is complete unplug the charger from both the bike or scooter as well as the electrical source.

  NOTE: If the charger is unplugged from the electrical source while attached to the bike or scooter then the charger will continue to run and drain the battery.

  If the charger is not attached to the bike or scooter but has been left attached to an electrical source than it will still be running and may overheat and damage the charger.
